Friends & Allies |
A very dear friend. Murai trusts Human Karkat about as far as she trusts herself, which is to say that she values his insight and support but sometimes takes his judgement with a grain of salt. He appears to have stopped mooning over her, for which she is quietly grateful. Addresses him as "Honored Karkat," refers to him as "Honored Karkat" or "Human Karkat." His Calm powers have proven effective in counteracting her episodes of madness, and she trusts him to use them for such. |
Cassandra was immediately friendly and welcoming when Murai first arrived in the game. Shortly thereafter, her being taken hostage by the Grand Highblood was the major impetus for Murai taking a side in the politics of the game. Murai values Cassandra's friendship, and often worries about her. They maintain a polite if somewhat distant relationship. Addresses her as "Honored Cassandra," refers to her as "Honored Cassandra" or "Miss Mortmain." |
A prophet and leader, and a genuinely kind person. Murai's drawn to him on both a professional and a personal level, and although she'd probably not say so outright, when Troll Drama happens her sympathies are generally with his faction. She's found his recent extended squid-related fatalism somewhat troubling. Addresses him as "Honored Signless," refers to him as "Honored Signless." |
A follower, associate, and lover of the Signless. Charismatic and strongly principled. Murai admires her a great deal, but is a little intimidated by her. Addresses her as "Honored Disciple," refers to her as "Honored Disciple" or "the Disciple." |
Alternate universe counterpart of Human Karkat and direct descendent of the Signless. Murai's not nearly as close to him as to his human double, but she's generally friendly toward him. She's relieved that he's stopped doping himself into oblivion with his game powers. Addresses him as "Honored Karkat," refers to him as "Honored Karkat" or "Troll Karkat." His Peace powers can place her in a completely mentally stable state for days at a time, but at the expense of her ability to react to threats and of her social skills. She's not likely to accept being Peaced a second time unless it's an emergency. |
An "imaginary" tiger anchored to a stuffed toy; Murai personally understands his existence in terms of him being a tulpa. Thoughtful, and a good community builder. Murai offered emotional support when he realized his true nature. Addresses and refers to him as "Honored Hobbes." |
Cheerful and helpful. Murai's vaguely aware of Jake as a reasonable person who does more good than harm, but they tend to run in different circles. Notable for being originally from a reality where humans and trolls coexist. Addresses him as "Honored Jake," refers to him as "Jake English" or "Honored Jake." |
A priest and a prophet of violent gods, with an extremely evangelical approach. Murai is simultaneously drawn to and terrified by the Grand Highblood, and has spent most of her time in the game carefully avoiding him while periodically testing the waters and discovering that yes, he still freaks her out. Addresses him as "Honored Highblood," refers to him as "Grand Highblood" or "Honored Highblood." |
A friend of Human Karkat. Not the most stable person in the game. Possibly not a great influence on Karkat. Murai's not sure what to make of him, though he's been generally friendly when they've spoken. Addresses him as "Honored Theo," refers to him as "Theo DuMedd" or "Theo." |
...Ok, Murai's not sure what to think of the Handmaid. She keeps an eye on what the unpredictable troll is doing, when she can. Murai does not have a typical form of address for the Handmaid, but may take her cues from whoever she's currently talking to when talking about her. |
A subordinate and descendant of the Grand Highblood. Less overtly threatening than his ancestor, but also less predictable - Murai has approached him several times and been met with everything from sullen secrecy to easy camaraderie. Addresses him as "Honored Gamzee," refers to him as "Gamzee Makara" or "the younger indigo." |
A wizard. Brash, but generally well-meaning. A good friend of Cassandra. Addresses him as "Honored Sirius," refers to him as "Sirius Black." |
Has been here longer than anyone, and it's obviously wearing on him. Generally in favor of order and team cohesion, when he's not too disillusioned to deal with the game. Addresses him as "Honored Billy" and refers to him as "Billy Kaplan." |
A sweet kid, in a little over her head. They rarely talk, but Murai would address and refer to her as "Honored Effy." |
A ghost. She and Murai kind of comfortably ignore each other most of the time, though they have offered aid to one another on occasion. Addresses and refers to her as "Honored Spirit" or "Honored Aradia." |
Very cheerful, very friendly. Probably would object to not being listed under "friends." Addresses him as "Honored Gentaro," refers to him as "Gentaro" or "Honored Gentaro." |
Very technologically adept. Very aware of this. Very cocky. Addresses him as "Honored Tony," refers to him as "Tony Stark" or "Mr. Stark." |
An associate of the the Signless, a loose cannon, and a troublemaker. Has spent the past several months in a constant downward spiral from conflicted to unbearably self-righteous. Addresses him as "Honored Psionic," refers to him as "The Psionic." |
(Human) Seems to enjoy sowing mayhem and confusion. Thoroughly bad-tempered. Has powerful allies and isn't afraid to use them to her best advantage - or her pettiest advantage. Poor track record in regards to Horrorterrors. Addresses her as "Mary Katherine," refers to her as "Mary Katherine" or "Miss Blackwood." |
Petty, argumentative, small-minded, facetious, condescending idiot. Wouldn't know good sense if it bit him. Uncomfortably familiar manner. Addresses him as "Honored Jay" because she knows it annoys him, refers to him as "Jay" or "Jay Zimin." |
Killed the Iron Giant in cold blood. Addresses him as "Doctor," refers to him as "Horrible" or "Doctor Horrible." |
Annoyingly full of himself. Unironically said "Blasted "gods", thinking that they're superior to every other species" to Murai the first time they met. Enough said. Addresses him as "Honored Doctor," refers to him as "the Doctor." |
![]() Deaths & Disappearances |
Murai's original client player and a steadfast ally. Disappeared. Refers to hir as "Ghost" or "Honored Spirit." |
Alternian rebel. Looked out for Murai when she was a new player. Surrogate commander figure. Disappeared. Refers to him as "Honored Summoner." |
One of the most principled, idealistic people in the game. Struggled with self-confidence. A very good friend to Murai. Killed via disintegration by Dr. Horrible. Refers to him as "Giant" or "Honored Giant." |
A friend of Human Karkat, and Murai's server for a time. Somewhat reclusive. Murai didn't know her well, but she liked Arya well enough. Refers to her as "Honored Arya" or "Arya." |
